Niklas Schmitz

Niklas Schmitz is an experienced academic and research professional currently serving as a Supervisor and Teaching Assistant for undergraduate and MPhil macroeconomics courses at the University of Cambridge. Niklas has a diverse research background, mentoring high school students at Lumiere Education and completing an internship in economic research at Point72. Previously, Niklas gained insight into financial regulation and policy during a traineeship at the European Central Bank, alongside internships focusing on economic modeling and research at Deutsche Bundesbank, Allianz, and Simon-Kucher & Partners. Currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of Cambridge, Niklas has a comprehensive educational background, including an MPhil from the same institution and a BS from the University of Münster.
