Nina Yon

Nina Yon, MNM, currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, beginning in January 2025. Previously, Nina held the position of President/CEO at The Sharing Center from March 2019 to January 2025, leading efforts to provide essential resources and support for those facing hunger and homelessness. Prior to that, Nina was the Director of Development at United Against Poverty Inc., where the focus was on empowering families towards economic self-sufficiency. Additional experience includes roles such as Director of Corporate Relations at the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, Community Knowledge Manager at the Central Florida Foundation, and Director of Special Projects at the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness. Earlier in the career, Nina was the Director of Global Business Development at the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management, both from the University of Central Florida.
