Shawn McCann

Shawn McCann currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Professional Military Education at the University of Cumbria since September 2023. In addition, Shawn holds the position of Assistant Director for Research and Insights in the Americas Learning division at EY since July 2020. Prior to these roles, Shawn was the Talent and Strategy Development Lead at Cognitive Performance Group from June 2016 to January 2020 and served in the United States Marine Corps from May 1996 to May 2016. Shawn's educational background includes a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Organization and Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from the State University of New York Maritime College.
