Thomas Fischer

Thomas Fischer is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Geneva since April 2019, following a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor. In addition to this role, Thomas Fischer has held the position of Yearly Review Editor for The Leadership Quarterly since January 2023 and was a Visiting Scholar at Lund University in September 2020. Previous experience includes serving as a PhD student, teaching assistant, and lecturer at the University of Lausanne from February 2014 to October 2018, where Thomas Fischer completed a PhD thesis titled "Leadership: Processes and Ambiguities." Educational qualifications include a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the University of Lausanne, an MS in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich, and dual BS degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration and Management from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Additionally, Thomas Fischer gained international exposure as a Visiting PhD Student at Stanford University in the fall of 2017.
