Aameek Singh

Aameek Singh is a Senior Director of Engineering at Instagram since January 2021, leading a team focused on AI/ML initiatives across the platform. Aameek serves on the advisory board for the Computer Science department at The University of Georgia and the Asian University for Women, which emphasizes women's education and leadership in Asia. Previously, Aameek held various leadership roles at IBM from June 2007 to December 2020, including Vice President of Engineering and Product Management for IBM Watson, where responsibilities encompassed the engineering and operations of AI applications and platforms. Aameek earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B. Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
