Scott Williams

Scott Williams is an experienced higher education professional specializing in career services and workforce development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Career Center at The University of Georgia since November 2000, Scott oversees a substantial team and budget, leading initiatives such as a university-wide mentor pilot program and significantly improving career outcomes knowledge rates. Previously, Scott held leadership roles at Carnegie Mellon University, where strategic planning and resource acquisition were priorities, and at the University of Mississippi, where Scott expanded campus recruiting and career programming. Scott began career services work at Vanderbilt University, advancing through various roles and developing innovative programs for students. Scott holds a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
