Iadh Ounis

Iadh Ounis is a Professor at The University of Glasgow, where tenure began in September 1999, transitioning to Reader before attaining the professorship. Ounis served as a Board Member and led the Glasgow Hub for The Data Lab from March 2014 to February 2018. Additionally, Ounis held the position of Deputy Director and Director of Knowledge Exchange at the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance from August 2014 to April 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from 1998 to 1999 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 1997 to 1998. Ounis completed a PhD in Computer Science at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 1994 to 1998, following an MSc in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA in 1993-1994.
