Louise Mason

Louise Mason currently serves as the Head of Innovation & Enterprise at the University of Glasgow, where responsibilities include leading Innovation and Enterprise Services for the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences since December 2021. Prior to this role, Louise held positions including Translational Research Development Manager and Translational Research Officer, focusing on the commercialization of biomedical and life sciences research within the same college. Additional experience includes serving as a Laboratory Demonstrator for biomedical engineering students and working as a Research Scientist at the City University of New York. Louise began their career as an Assistant Research Scientist at Biogelx Limited and has also worked as a self-employed private tutor. Educationally, Louise holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Master's degree in Chemistry with Drug Discovery from the University of Strathclyde.
