Mark Logan

Mark Logan serves as a Professor at the University of Glasgow's School of Computing Science since October 2019 and is a Co-Founder and Director at Ipso Facto, providing guidance to start-ups and scale-ups. From May 2020 to November 2024, Mark held the position of Chief Entrepreneurial Advisor to the Scottish Government, where responsibilities included the development of Scotland's entrepreneurial support strategy and advising ministers on relevant policies. Mark has also contributed as a Non-Executive Director for several organizations, including CBI, TravelNest, Swipii, The Data Lab, and Care Sourcer. Previously, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer at Skyscanner, managing an extensive growth from 100 to 900 employees and overseeing all aspects of the business. Mark's earlier experience includes a Director role at Cisco Systems, focusing on global delivery for significant enterprise clients. Educational qualifications encompass degrees from the University of Glasgow and Robert Gordon University, including a Doctor of Science and a Doctor of Business Administration.
