Olivia Thompson

Olivia Thompson is an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience in development and advancement roles. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Chief Development Officer at the University of Houston since March 2014, Olivia has held multiple senior titles, including Chief Principal Gifts Officer for International Advancement. Prior to this, Olivia worked at The University of Texas at Austin in various development positions from 2007 to 2014, including Associate Director for Development in the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Natural Sciences. Earlier experience includes a role as Executive Director at Texas State University's Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art, and Program Coordinator at The University of Texas System. Olivia holds a B.A. in Art from The Ohio State University and an MPA in Public Administration from Texas State University.
