Katherine Battee-Freeman

Katherine (Kathyy) Battee-Freeman, LCPC, NCC, BC-TMH, currently serves as the Director of the Career Development Center at the University of Illinois Springfield since May 2017. With extensive experience in career development and counseling, Katherine previously held significant roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago, including Associate Director for Career Development. Katherine is also the owner of Kathyy's Krafts, specializing in handmade items from repurposed materials, and has experience as an Independent Consultant with Pampered Chef. Katherine's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Human Resources Education and a Master's in Community Counseling with a focus on Career Counseling, both enhancing expertise in career planning and development.
