Dr Rakesh K Panchal

Dr Rakesh K Panchal currently holds the position of Honorary Associate Professor in Teaching & Research in Respiratory Sciences at the University of Leicester since September 2022. Dr Panchal has extensive experience in respiratory medicine, serving as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at University Hospitals of Leicester and Spire Leicester Hospital, with additional roles as Regional Specialty Advisor and College Tutor at the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Panchal has also served on the British Thoracic Society Education & Training Committee and was a Darzi Clinical Leadership Fellow with the National Leadership Council. Educational accomplishments include an MB ChB (Hons) from the University of Leicester, MRCP in Medicine and Respiratory Medicine, and a Master of Research in Research Translational Management.
