Guangbin Li is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Environmental Engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland since January 2019. Prior to this role, Guangbin Li held the position of Research Assistant Professor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona from August 2012. The research focus includes the inhibition mechanisms and metabolism of anaerobic ammonium oxidizing (ANAMMOX) bacteria, as well as developing strategies to enhance the application of ANAMMOX processes for nitrogen removal.
