Ken Sylvester currently serves as the Interim Executive Director and Director of the Office of Research and Economic Development at the University of Michigan-Flint, a position held since June 2016. Prior to this role, Ken Sylvester worked at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research from August 2001 to June 2016, where responsibilities included Research Associate Professor, Assistant Research Scientist, Research Investigator, and Research Fellow. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History from York University, as well as a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History, alongside a second Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science, all obtained from the University of Waterloo.
