Ali Anwar

Ali Anwar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, with a robust background in research and teaching. Previously, Ali held positions as a Research Staff Member at IBM Almaden Research Center, a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech, and completed multiple summer internships at IBM Almaden Research Center and IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Ali earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Virginia Tech between 2013 and 2018, and a Master of Science (MSc.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 2009 to 2012.
