Andrew Ernat

Andrew Ernat is a Senior Research Plot Technician at the University of Minnesota since December 2024, following a role as Global Seed Conditioning Lead at Ball Horticultural Company from August 2022 to November 2024. Previous experience includes positions as a Fabricator at Popp Engineering Inc. and a Research Plot Technician at Iowa State University. Additionally, Andrew contributed to forest ecology research at The Morton Arboretum and served as a Seedling Technology Intern at Ball Horticultural Company. In 2019, Andrew was Head of Alumni Relations for the Iowa State Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity and worked as a Construction Worker at Missouri Star Quilt Company. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and Global Resource Systems from Iowa State University, completed in 2022.
