Junaed Sattar

Junaed Sattar is an academic with extensive experience in human-robot interaction, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota since January 2016, after holding the position of Assistant Professor. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor at Clarkson and Post-doctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia, where research focused on quantitative modeling of human-robot dialog. Junaed Sattar began the academic career as a Course Lecturer at McGill University and a Lecturer at BRAC University, where responsibilities included course design and instruction. Prior industry experience includes a role as System Analyst at Iponics Bangladesh Limited, managing software development teams for HRM and CRM systems. Junaed Sattar holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
