June Kim is a lecturer at UNSW since January 2021, teaching a variety of Media Arts and Design courses, including Media Arts Gateway, Interaction Design, and 3D Visualisation. June is currently serving as the Chair for the SIGGRAPH 2024 Frontiers program and was the Chair for the SIGGRAPH Asia 2023 Conference. Previously, June held positions at various institutions, including Sessional Lecturer at UNSW Art & Design and Casual Academic at the University of Sydney. June's professional experience also encompasses roles at QUT, Auckland University of Technology, and industry positions as a Digital Artist, Multimedia Designer, and Lead Editor in animation. June holds a Master’s Degree in Creative Technologies and several other qualifications in communication, media studies, and business/IT from Auckland University of Technology.
