Crystal Pace

Crystal Pace, PhD, currently serves as a Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since September 2024. Prior to this role, Crystal held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Metabolon, Inc. from January 2022 to September 2024 and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at North Carolina State University from May 2017 to December 2021, where Crystal pursued a PhD in Bioanalytical Chemistry. Crystal's expertise includes managing research projects on IR-MALDESI mass spectrometry imaging, developing analytical platforms, and studying complex biological systems. Crystal has also instructed laboratory courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, contributed to undergraduate research initiatives, and completed internships focusing on research and development in the chemical industry. Crystal earned a BS in Chemistry from Meredith College in 2017.
