John Brunner

John Brunner currently serves as an Associate Athletic Director and Teaching Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since August 2017. In this role, John Brunner teaches undergraduate courses in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science and oversees event management for the athletic department. Prior to this position, John Brunner was the Recreation Manager for the Town of Chapel Hill, NC, from April 2016 to October 2017, where leadership focused on enhancing recreational programming and services. John Brunner also held the role of Director of Athletic Operations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 until April 2016.
