Layla Higgins Dowdy serves as the Director of Communications for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as the Director of the Office of Research Communications. Prior to this role, Layla held various positions at NASA, including Strategic Communication & Outreach Manager, Strategic Communication Manager, and Communication Manager. With a strong background in research communication and strategic outreach, Layla brings significant expertise to the field.
