Zach Padget

Zach Padget currently serves as Litigation Counsel at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Zach Padget accumulated extensive legal experience at the NC Department of Justice, where service spanned from March 2014 to July 2024 in various capacities, including Special Deputy Attorney General and Associate Attorney General specializing in education and torts. Earlier in the career, Zach Padget gained practical experience through internships and clerkships at the Wake County District Attorney's Office, Charlotte City Attorney's Office, and Chatham County District Attorney's Office. Zach Padget holds a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
