Maria Borgstrom

Maria Borgstrom is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant to the Dean II at the University of North Georgia since October 2024. Previously, Maria held several key roles at Broward College, including Senior Director and Director of Continuing Education/Workforce Development Health Sciences, where responsibilities encompassed program development, budgeting, and oversight of departmental operations. Maria's expertise includes executing operational plans, supervising staff, managing course schedules, and handling financial assets to ensure program quality and student success. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, and two Associate degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Broward College.
