Sean Shannon

Sean Shannon currently serves as an Outsourced (Fractional) VP/Sales at Sales Xceleration® since April 2024 and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of North Georgia, where the focus is on teaching marketing and professional sales. Shannon has extensive experience in business development and sales management, highlighted by roles such as Vice President/Market Manager at Cumulus Media and Entercom, where leadership involved integrated media and marketing solutions for leading radio brands. Previous teaching roles included adjunct positions at the University of Washington and Seattle University. Shannon's early career at Fisher Communications and Clear Channel Communications established a reputation as a turnaround specialist, enhancing revenue and market share for various radio stations. Shannon holds an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington.
