Caitlin Fitzgerald

Caitlin Fitzgerald currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, beginning in August 2023. Previously, Caitlin worked as a Research Assistant at The Catholic University of America from January 2020 to August 2023, contributing to significant research projects including the Mental Health in Congregations Study, Work and Well-Being in Science, and the National Study of Catholic Priests, which culminated in a first-authored publication and a 40-page honors thesis. Caitlin also held the position of Teaching Assistant for an introductory sociology course, providing support in grading and class discussions. Experience includes roles as Hall Security Assistant for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Pro-Life Activities Intern at Busted Halo. Educational credentials include a PhD in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in Sociology and Politics from The Catholic University of America.
