Neil Kemp

Associate Professor at University of Nottingham

Neil Kemp is an Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham since September 2021, previously serving as an Assistant Professor in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. At the University of Hull, Neil Kemp has been a Visiting Academic in Physics since August 2009 and advanced through the ranks to Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Reader. Leading a research group focused on nanophysics, Neil Kemp investigates new phenomena applicable to electronic applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Research Fellow at Technische Universität Dresden and a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Université de Strasbourg and UNSW Australia. Neil Kemp earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics from Victoria University of Wellington between 1996 and 2000.
