Steven MacNamara

Steven Macnamara is an experienced professional in project management and strategic delivery, currently serving as the Strategic Delivery Lead and Senior Project Manager for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Nottingham since March 2021. Prior to this role, Steven spent nearly 30 years at Derby City Council, where responsibilities included managing significant capital build projects, implementing change initiatives, and leading various data management and business process mapping efforts. Notable projects included the redevelopment of the Council House and the introduction of innovative practices like a pilot voter ID scheme. Steven holds a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from the University of Nottingham, along with a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from The Open University.
