Betsy Boyd

Betsy Boyd serves as the Senior Associate Vice President for Federal Affairs at the University of Oregon, a position held since October 2000, where advocacy for university research and student aid is a primary focus. Prior roles at the university include Associate Vice President for Federal Affairs and Associate VP for Public and Government Affairs, during which Betsy Boyd developed the federal government relations program and continued advocacy efforts. Prior to university roles, Betsy Boyd worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as Director of District Offices for Congressman Peter DeFazio, overseeing multiple congressional offices and staff. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon, and a study abroad experience at Université de Poitiers.
