Alison Reid

Alison Reid is currently serving as an MHA Resident at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute since September 2024. Prior to this role, Alison accumulated extensive experience as a Physiotherapist and Certified Respiratory Educator at Somerset West Community Health Centre from January 2018 to June 2024, contributing to the Ottawa Community Lung Health Program - Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Alison's involvement in various committees includes the Wellness Committee since February 2019 and the Digital Equity & Virtual Programming Committee from July 2020 to August 2021. Additional experiences include physiotherapy positions at Bruyère and Pro Physio & Sport Medicine Centres in late 2017. Alison holds a Master of Health Administration from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa. Undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, complemented by a Minor in Psychology from Concordia University.
