David Neilipovitz

David Neilipovitz serves as the Department Chair and Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Ottawa since October 2022. Simultaneously, David is the Head of Department and Medical Director of Patient Flow at The Ottawa Hospital. Additionally, David holds the position of Critical Care Lead for Ontario East with Ontario Health, overseeing clinical coordination in the region. Prior experience includes leading the Champlain Critical Care Network and serving as Head of Critical Care Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital. Furthermore, David has held leadership roles such as Chair of Ontario's Anesthesiologists and President of OCH Anesthesia Associates. David's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Queen's University and advanced training in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Ottawa. David also completed a Master's in Physician Leadership at Schulich School of Business.
