Jascha Achterberg

Jascha Achterberg is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, collaborating with Rui Ponte Costa in the Neural and Machine Learning Lab. Jascha is also a Gates Scholar under the Gates Cambridge Scholarship program. Previous experience includes an AI Research Internship at Intel Labs, a Visiting Researcher position at Columbia University, and roles in research and teaching at the University of Cambridge. Jascha has extensive leadership experience as Chief Technology Officer at Psynergy Mental Health, where the development of algorithms for mental health applications was undertaken. Earlier positions include co-founder and Chief Knowledge Officer at OVIE, as well as management and marketing roles in various organizations. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Market Psychology from Hochschule Osnabrück.
