Maru Fuentes Perez

Maru Fuentes Perez currently serves as a Program Manager at the University of Oxford since June 2024. Previously, Maru held multiple roles at ONI, including Project Manager and Operations Manager, from September 2017 to April 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London from April 2015 to August 2017, focusing on the intersection of physics and biology through single-molecule microscopy to investigate DNA interactions. Maru also contributed as a Ph.D. Student at the National Center for Biotechnology-CSIC in Madrid, Spain, from November 2009 to December 2014, specializing in single-molecule biophysics and developing expertise in Atomic Force Microscopy. Maru's academic background includes a Ph.D. from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Master's in Biomedicine from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a Bachelor's in Physics from the same institution.
