Donald S. Burke is a prominent figure in public health and medicine, currently serving as Dean Emeritus and Distinguished University Professor of Health Science and Policy at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health, where tenure began in 2006. Burke's distinguished career includes positions such as Dean of the Graduate School of Public Health, Jonas Salk Chair in Population Health, and Director of the Center for Vaccine Research.
