Kathleen Parker

Adjunct Professor at University of Pittsburgh

Kathleen Parker is an experienced academic and editor with a focus on history and communication. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2011, Parker also holds the position of Editor for the Journal of Unitarian Universalist History at the Unitarian Universalist History and Heritage Society since September 2009, where responsibilities include reviewing and editing scholarly articles and book reviews. In addition, Parker has worked independently on grant-funded projects since January 2004, conducting research for manuscript preparation and exhibitions. Previously, from March 2012 to March 2020, Parker was an Adjunct in History and Political Science at La Roche College, teaching a course on Multicultural History of America. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication from Western Michigan University.
