Kinsey Casey

Kinsey Casey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including government, nonprofit, and higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Development in Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2022, Casey previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for the City of Pittsburgh, overseeing multiple city departments and operations under Mayor Bill Peduto. Prior experience includes significant roles such as Chief of Staff at Emerge America, Deputy Chief of Staff at the University of Pittsburgh, and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of State under Secretary John Kerry. Additional experience encompasses national security management at The White House and logistical coordination for the Department of Homeland Security. Kinsey Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Wagner College.
