Katherine Rodriguez is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester. Currently serving as a Student Alumni Ambassador, Katherine promotes networking between undergraduates and alumni while supporting the Office of Alumni Relations. As an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the James P Wilmot Cancer Center, Katherine's research uncovers the role of Glutathione in disease using advanced techniques. Previous experience includes roles as a Bilingual Research Coordinator for a mixed-methods study in the University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry Clinical Group and as a Student Researcher at the Mayo Clinic, where Katherine developed a competitive science fair project on melatonin's effects on brain metastasis from breast cancer.
