Wendi Whitmore

Wendi Whitmore is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks since February 2021, Wendi also contributes to academia as a member of the Industry Advisory Boards for the Duke University Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity and the University of San Diego Masters of Cybersecurity Engineering. Previous positions include Vice President at IBM, where responsibility encompassed global incident response and threat intelligence, and Managing Director at Mandiant, overseeing incident response and proactive services. Wendi's career began as a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, focusing on computer crime investigations. Wendi holds multiple graduate certificates and a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems.
