Tate McAluney is a dedicated science educator and researcher currently serving as a Summer Camp Instructor at the California Science Center, responsible for delivering an interactive science education program for youth. Previous experience includes a Laboratory Intern position with the USC Pulsed Power Research Group, where Tate conducted plasma combustion experiments and developed a formula for gas pressure ratios. Additionally, Tate interned at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, synthesizing magnesium borohydride for hydrogen cycling research. Tate is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Southern California, with an expected graduation date of December 2023.
