David Jaeger is a distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of St Andrews since January 2020 and serves as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and the IZA - Institute of Labor Economics. Jaeger has held various academic positions, including Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and Professor at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, until August 2020. Previous roles include visiting and permanent professorships at the University of Cologne and associate professorships at the College of William and Mary and Hunter College. Jaeger earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics from Williams College. Additionally, Jaeger obtained a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2018.
