Peter Roth

Peter Roth is an experienced academic with a strong focus on polymer science and chemistry. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Surrey since February 2016, Peter Roth specializes in functional polymers, nanoparticles, degradable polymers, and polymer photochemistry. Prior to this role, Peter Roth worked at Curtin University as a Lecturer, concentrating on multicomponent chemistry and stimulus-responsive polymers. From May 2010 to February 2015, Peter Roth held positions as both a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, where research centered on novel smart materials and multifunctional monomers. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Associate focused on self-assembly of functional polymers and thermoresponsive materials. Peter Roth's postdoctoral research took place at the University of Mainz for a brief period in 2009-2010. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Organic Chemistry/Polymer Science from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and additional research credentials from Seoul National University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
