Kosmas Ellinas

Kosmas Ellinas is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in nanotechnology, microfluidics, and superhydrophobic surfaces. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of the Aegean since March 2022, Kosmas also co-founded Nanoplasmas P.C. in March 2016, focusing on advanced nanomaterials. Prior roles include a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology NCSR DEMOKRITOS, contributing to HORIZON 2020 projects, and holding various postdoctoral and industrial research positions supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Kosmas's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, complemented by a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and a Bachelor’s in Physics from the same institution.
