Marie Leahy

Marie Leahy is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in major gifts and alumni relations. Currently serving as the Director of Major Gifts for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Vermont Foundation & Alumni Association since September 2024, Marie has previously held significant roles at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival as Associate Director of Philanthropy for Major Gifts & Individual Support, and at Bennington College as Regional Development Director. During a notable tenure at Bennington College from 2009 to 2022, Marie contributed to major gift fundraising efforts across the NYC region. Earlier professional roles include managing alumni programs at Northshire Bookstore and marketing director positions at both Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from NYU Gallatin.
