Joanne Wale

Joanne Wale is an experienced professional in higher education, currently serving as the Deputy Director and Head of Academic Projects & Administration at the University of Warwick since December 2014. In this role, Joanne also functions as the Deputy Director & Academic Manager for the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL). Since May 2012, Joanne has worked as a self-employed Higher Education Consultant, specializing in Business School accreditations such as EQUIS and AACSB, conducting benchmarking exercises, and managing projects. Prior to this, Joanne held several roles at Warwick Business School from October 2003 to May 2012, including Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Services), where responsibilities included leading external accreditations and quality assurance initiatives, as well as project management. Joanne holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Warwick Business School and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Birmingham.
