Onora Lien

Onora Lien is an experienced leader in healthcare response and disaster preparedness, currently serving as the Executive Director of Northwest Healthcare Response Network since October 2013. Under Onora Lien's leadership, the organization transitioned from a local public health program to a nationally recognized nonprofit, expanding its service area from two counties to all of Western Washington. Onora Lien has also contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at the University of Washington and held key positions in various healthcare organizations, including the National Healthcare Coalition Resource Center and Public Health - Seattle & King County. With a strong educational background including a Master's degree in Sociology from The Johns Hopkins University, Onora Lien has developed a robust expertise in emergency response planning, healthcare coalition management, and public health strategy.
