Dominic J. Ledesma

Dominic J. Ledesma, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Diversity Officer and Interim Director of the Office of Access, Inclusion, and Compliance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With expertise in promoting inclusive excellence within educational organizations, Ledesma focuses on improving access to educational programs for diverse populations and ensuring federal compliance. Previously, Ledesma held roles as Language Access Coordinator at both the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension and the Division of Extension, managing translation projects and consulting on language access needs. As Associate Director of the Chancellor’s and Powers-Knapp Scholarship Programs, Ledesma supported over 500 undergraduates from underrepresented communities. Ledesma holds a PhD in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Italian, and Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies.
