Niki Virnig

Niki Virnig currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since December 2021. Prior to this role, Niki held the position of Senior Director of Operations & Strategy at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin from July 2018 to December 2021, overseeing both the Departments of Neurosurgery and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Niki's career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison began in July 2002, with various roles including Assistant Director and Senior Administrative Program Specialist in the Department of Neurological Surgery, as well as positions in the Departments of Neurology and the Center for Neuroscience. Niki holds a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
