Sahnya Thom

Sahnya Thom, PhD, is an accomplished academic and martial arts instructor currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout since August 2023. With extensive experience as an Independent Contractor, Coach, and Consultant since 2014, Sahnya also holds the position of Head Instructor at Windhorse Warrior Martial Arts, where teachings are based on Bruce Lee's JeetKuneDo philosophy. Previously, Sahnya held faculty roles at Cardinal Stritch University, Ripon College, and North Park University, delivering courses on topics such as human learning and mindfulness. Sahnya's educational background includes a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Adler University, a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Bachelor's degree in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from Ripon College, along with a 6th Degree Black Belt from Universal Systems of Karate.
