Brett Befus

Brett Befus currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Development at the University of Wyoming Foundation, a position held since May 2019, where leadership of the Development Team and oversight of the Planned Giving Program are key responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Vice President for University Advancement at Metropolitan State University of Denver and several positions at the University of Wyoming Foundation, including Director of Principal Gifts and Director of Corporate Development. Additional experience includes serving as a Law Clerk for the 5th Judicial District Court in Wyoming and as a Marketing & Promotions Coordinator for University of Wyoming Athletics. Brett Befus holds a J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law, an M.S. in Sport Management from West Virginia University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming.
