David Colvin

David Colvin is a seasoned professional in strategic growth and performance improvement with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Advisor for Strategic Growth at URC since September 2024, Colvin integrates the expertise of IBI and URC to enhance organizational performance. Prior to this role, Colvin was with IBI from August 2006 to September 2024 as Senior Advisor and President, offering consulting and training in performance improvement and change management. Colvin has also held significant positions, including President and CEO at the International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management and Public Diplomacy Officer with the U.S. Department of State, where responsibilities included designing communications campaigns and managing information programs. Colvin's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Political Science from American University in Cairo, Executive Education in Authentic Leadership Development from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
