Fiona James, CFRE, serves as the Vice President of Client Partnerships at Up Fundraising since September 2024. Prior experience includes leading marketing and donor engagement efforts at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Canada from January 2019 to September 2024, where Fiona also held the role of Interim Director of Fundraising. At Plan International Canada from September 2015 to December 2018, Fiona was Senior Manager of One Time Gifts, contributing significantly to individual giving revenue and enhancing donor experiences. Previous roles include Manager of Acquisition and Donor Retention at World Animal Protection, Community Programs & Fundraising Associate at Journalists for Human Rights, and Client Partnerships Canada at Public Outreach Fundraising. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Women's Studies from the University of Toronto and additional qualifications in fundraising and broadcast journalism.
